The Hunt

The Peace River Valley is one of the finest waterfowl hunting areas in North America.  The valley extends for hundreds of miles and is a prime agricultural area.  Staging geese and ducks feed on the thousands of acres of peas, barley, and wheat prior to continuing their southward migration.  We at Goose Master strive to put our hunters in the best hunting situation and take you to the birds.

We have hunting arrangements with many of the farmers in the area who welcome hunters due to the tremendous damage done by the these migrating geese and ducks.

A typical day consists of goose hunting in the morning and duck hunting in the afternoon, depending on conditions.

All goose hunts are field hunts from blinds over decoys, the birds are abundant and hunters are afforded the opportunity to fill their quota each day.  Concentrations of birds are primarily  Canada Geese and Mallard Ducks with some Speckle Belly Geese and Pintail Ducks.

Duck hunts are either field based or from boats or blinds on one of our marshes.
